Parking lot was larger than expected and unlike most Greek places, there wasn't mandatory valet , at least not on a weeknight. We met at 5p without reservations with just two of us on a Thursday. We were seated immediately. The service was ridiculously fast. We ordered quickly and it seemed the food came within 5 minutes. We were first through fresh bread and were offered more if we wanted it. The bread was denser than other Greek breads and warm. I loved it. I had the pastitsio which was excellent. Not quite as rich as I've had before which I preferred. My friend had the pasta which was creamy and good. The place was pretty much packed by 6 which surprised us for a Thursday but never too loud. Lots of space between tables and the atmosphere was light and beautiful.

Amazing greek / mediterranean food!!!! I went with my boyfriend + his family on a Wednesday night and we were able to walk right in. The inside was very cute, decorated with tons of holiday decor & had a giant olive tree in the middle of the restaurant. Our service was great too, no complaints!!!!! Everyone was blown away at how delicious the food was. We started with saganaki which did not come with pita or bread, so i would ask for some on the side when you order this. I got a greek salad with salmon + a side of pita and tzatziki. The pita was the best pita bread I have ever had. It was served warm and was soooo soft and pillowy. The tzatziki was thick and creamy and very fresh. All the entrees everybody else ordered looked amazing & were HUGE! Definitely enough for leftovers. Cannot wait to go back!!!!!!!

My wife & I went to Plateia with 2 other couples for a holiday dinner (pre- Christmas) because the restaurant is equidistant to the three of us. It has ample parking and it was quite busy as expected. Although they don't take reservations for groups of less than 8, we didn't wait long to be seated. About the food - the appetizers were excellent, we ordered the hummus platter, grilled octopus & fried calamari which was soft & crunchy. Their Negroni was perfect for my taste. My wife had the Lavraki (grilled branzino) and I had the lamb Kokinisto which was great. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the season and not overwhelming. If we are ever near the area, we would definitely go back to Plateia.

I met with my work friends to celebrate one of our colleagues engagement. We met for lunch on Sunday and it was quite busy with lots of churchgoers coming to have meal after service. Our food was tasted great including drinks. Overall great vibe.

No gyros? Oh, well... Not a Greek food fan mostly so this must've been REALLY good. Fish egg dip great. Heard the flaming cheese has been stopped by the local moronic government. Bummer. That's why I didn't order it. Opa! Staff? Top notch. I shall return.

You can NEVER go wrong with fresh Greek Food! Their Chicken Skewers and Lamb Chops are always a hit. You can tell the tzatziki sauce is homemade and has a nice little kick to it. Their food is not cooked in Seed or Refined Oils if that is something you care about - it's all cooked in Olive Oil! The staff is always friendly and acts like you are family And in the summer, the outside patio is such a great vibe.

When considering this restaurant for a night out, it's best to consider the time you're going. They do not take reservations and the lot is not big enough to support a full restaurant. Our party of 6 went on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm which was a better time selection as many parties of 10+ people show up earlier in the evening. And we were lucky as when we pulled into the parking lot, there was a space right in front. There is no valet. Our party just arrived as well and we were immediately seated (I guess it's lucky that one of our party knows the owner). And heck, it's a good problem to have as a restaurant that doesn't take reservations to always be busy. The downside is that it tends to get quite loud inside and they do pump in music too, so the noise level is up there. We have been here multiple times and the food is always amazing. My wife and I always start off with the saganaki. However, we are no longer ordering this at Plateia or any Greek restaurant as part of the order is the entertainment value - and in the last several months, Greek restaurants have stopped lighting the cheese ablaze tableside. We don't know why they don't. It might be a new code, safety code, or otherwise. However, at Plateia, the saganaki we received was just a hunk of slightly warm block cheese. It wasn't its normal melty oozy goodness, just a lifeless block of cheese. It wasn't even hot. They really need to take it off the hot appetizer menu and place on the cold appetizer menu. However, it was just tepid and tasteless. Thankfully, it was not a sign of food to come. I also ordered a bowl of the Avgolemono soup. Plateia's is really one of the best I've ever had. Not too thick and not too thin, has pieces of chicken and rice in the soup. Add a squeeze of lemon and it's perfection! Perfect for a warm or cold night. This is my comfort food jam. Add in their loaf of warm bread and I am in heaven. I ordered their Char-Grilled Chicken, which is my staple at Greek restaurants, and Plateia doesn't disappoint. The chicken is juicy and flavorful. Others in our party all enjoyed their orders equally as well as I did: the Moussaka (baked eggplant), Pastichio (basically Greek lasagna), Skewers (pork and chicken), the Greek salad, and Skordalia (garlic spread). Our service was fantastic as our server made multiple trips to our table checking in on us and refilling drinks as needed. The owner and her husband also stopped by to say hello and check in on food and service. This is a fave of ours and we'll definitely return.

If you are looking for authentic middle eastern food that is amazing, this is the place. Went with a work colleague. We were seated quickly and the waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. He even steered us away from a couple of things. The restaurant was not noisy at all. We tried a variety of items. Everything was excellent. Feta Me Meli - Oh My God! Hummus Trio - so good Main - Chargrilled Chicken Skewers - fantastic

The restaurant does not take any reservations and walk ins only. We were seated promptly with a great server who provided great recommendations for us to try a good variety of best sellers. Food: we ordered Fried calamari, baked Feta, grilled octopus, and hummus trip as the appetizer to share amongst 5 adults. We shared lamb chops with oven baked potatoes and branzino which was fantastic. Everything was delicious with great cocktail selection to choose from. Definitely work trying out when in the area.

Grateful to be here on the Orthodox Easter with 2 of my close friends to celebrate my 2nd chance in life after the stroke ordeal! We started off with calamari and saganaki. Both was fried to perfection and delicious! For the main dish, I choose chicken kabob. It came with 2 skewers of white meat, tomato, onions, tzatziki sauce and 1 pita bread. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. There were enough tomato and onions to me to make small sandwiches using the pita. My friend opted for the roasted lamb from their Easter Special menu. She said it was very good. Her husband's chicken and pork skewers entree was equally good! They have a large parking lot with ample spaces for their customers. Large group for parties can be accommodated. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. I've already made plans to take my family to the establishment soon!
